I worked with the team at the USC blockchain club to create custom graphics & lettering for the event they were hosting, Southern California Blockchain Conference. I worked on custom lettering and imagery that was used on their digital platforms as well as for the production of merchandise for the event.

Sarcophagus is a decentralized, autonomous dead mans switch run on the Ethereum and Arweave networks. Built by a few anonymous genius’ I’ve had the infinite pleasure of working with for going on 2 years now since before the project launched and made a public appearance. With backgrounds in cryptography and security, they were passionate about creating a protocol that could be used by anyone- giving a bit of power and control back to individuals as our lives moves more and more towards being digital-first and somewhat out of our control (for now).

They are steadfast about being 100% open-source & creating a protocol thats accessible to anyone, robust, and owned by no-one. The project would be useless without the community of people around the world- a network where the ‘users’ and the ‘service providers’ are individuals without any incentives outside of their own. No centralized powers facilitating the work or collecting profits.

There was a very strong set of values in place from the beginning of the project, and while I did my best to relay the VIBE and the appropriate subtext through brand identity; this project was never meant to be controlled in how it was portrayed, not even owned by anyone in particular for that matter.

As a builder and member of the DAO, I was able to create the brand guidelines to help the team and the community ambassadors better understand the underlying beliefs and convictions at play with or without the use of the core brand designs. This, like all other design work and work among the builders is open source and available to the public for use. We hope that we can steer the community to consistently transcend the ethos and guiding principles that the project is being built on right now.

USE CASES

The community is the backbone of the project. As a DAO anyone can participate in governance over the protocol.

The community engagement between ambassadors, early adopters, investors and new comers has relied on not just a cohesive visual look but a unified approach to helping shepherd and educate new community members about how the project works.

pioneering a new era in advertising

I began working with the founding team on a logo, branding & art direction for the website early in 2022. The action was constant with giant institutional investments in land in cryptovoxels & decentraland as well as numerous other decentralized metaverse platforms being developed. The problem Metaverse Advertisement DAO wants to solve lies within the ownership and usage rights of virtual lands, which are limited in their current state. MAD is acquiring land and building the SubDAOs for anyone to participate in a new world of possibility; where land owners can work collectively to auction usage rights: a market that wasn’t previously possible. This way, anyone who wants to advertise or use space can bid on it & get the opportunity to do so.

A decentralized autonomous organization dedicated to facilitating business models in the metaverse by maximizing utilization of community-owned virtual real estate assets in advertising, and sharing profits with metaverse players such as landowners and builders.

BRAND IDENTITY

An old friend of mine realized the lack of an instagram page dedicated to old school 4x4 van lovers & owners. These American made 4x4s have been pretty much out of production for several decades, driving the insanely passionate niche of owners who find, buy, sell, fix up, build and customize inside and out along with flocking to national events to meet their fellow van lovers from around the country.

His hunch about this groups need for a central point of online fandom was beyond expectations, with the @make4x4vans page gaining thousands of followers in under a year and an outpouring of gratitude from the community. Right now, the page has just under 20k followers on instagram.

We worked together on making a new logo design based on the original I created a year or so earlier, and a few additional custom designs for stickers and merch.

I had the opportunity to work on a logo and brand identity system with a new tattoo shop came to me for help with their reach online. We worked together to create the important social media channels- and a fully formed google business profile to make sure they came up in local searches for ‘tattoo shops’.

This small tattoo shop on the border between williamsburg and bushwick was run by an incredibly talented and experienced artist who wanted to portray their welcoming attitude and versatility when it comes to style. Many tattoo shops in NYC are notoriously run by crews of elitest artists who may be appointment only, restrictive with what type of tattoos they’d do, and often quite pricey.

The Tattoo Habilitualists Club is a shop where walk-ins are always welcome. Artists are happy to bring your idea to life without breaking the bank and are likely going to be your new go-to guys.
